2509 Signals Royal Canadian Army Cadets
History of the 2509 Signals
Since February 1954, the officers and staff of the 2509 Signals have developed youths (age 12-18). Through instruction, mentorship and exercises they have shaped young leaders and citizens within the community.
The Royal Canadian Army Cadets
Army Cadets is a free program for teens aged 12 to 18, that teaches real‑world skills you won’t find in a classroom — from navigation and survival to first aid, camping, leadership, and more. Cadets can gain skills, compete, enjoy summer camp, and build friendships that last long after they retire their uniform.
